On May 31st, Panasonic opened workshop about STEAM. Junior and high school students around Japan joined it and learned what STEAM is. By the way, do you know STEAM? It is about Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Art. They let you master exploring and creating. These powers are important now.
Designing the Ultimate Protype
It is one of the themes of that education. Kalaya Kovidvisith told the importance of it to students. She is a STEAM professional. She said that the main thing is what you want to do, then think, identify and making things. The students had chances to ask questions to her.
Q. Do you have any idea to make products good for the environment?
A. We collect the data to understand the problem. So it is just process to make them now.
After learning STEAM, Kathleen Genevieve Ledecky took part in workshop. She is an Olympic athlete and learning STEAM at the university. Always Her number one thing is not swimming, but education, so she thinks STEAM education very seriously.

Q. What is your dream?
A. I was hoping to be in Japan, but now the Olympics are postponed, my new dream is to be there in 2021 in July.
Every people who joined the workshop enjoy their job. If STEAM is spread around the world, the lives will change more comfortable and enjoyable because the workers look happy.
Katie advised that dream is not just one, so try to look at as many different areas of lives or the world as you can, and think up some points and find things you really love.
