By participating in this event and experiencing the feelings of people with disabilities, I was able to feel more familiar to people like them than before. At the same time, I thought it was hard to live for the disabled in Japan now because ideas such as universal design noticed that people with disabilities were “specially treated”. From now on, ordinary people and people with disabilities can live in the same way, I thought it was important to aim beyond universal design. Same as me, it would be happy if this event was an opportunity for somebody to get rid of the barriers of the general public and people with disabilities.
